Our twisted version of the classic ice shaver. We sampled this vintage machine in every possible way and transformed it into an epic percussive Kontakt instrument. It focuses on epic percussion, rhythms and pulses as well as twisted pads and atmospheres. These unique sounds work great for action, horror, suspense, video games and it can be customized using the included powerful note, gate and FX sequencer.

Loops

Loop suites come in 3 styles: clean, hybrid and cinematic. Each with separate loops menus corresponding to different tempos and unique rhythm at different times signatures. Each menu contains the full loop and each individual elements.
All loops are also available as wave files.

Construction Kits

These are drums kits based on the Head Crusher. Notes are spread similarly to a general MIDI Drum Kit.

Pads

All pads were made out of the Hybrid Head Crusher, so they have a very unique quality. Take advantage of the gate and FX sequencers to transform them as you like.

Braams and Mega hits

27 Braams and 70 Mega hits are included as an aggressive complement of the percussive kits.

Effects Page

Each engine also has an effects page where each effect has a sequencer for its most important function.

Background and more information

This library started when we decided to sample a really cool Italian ice shaving machine that we found in a studio (Musicmind Tracks) and we decided to sample it percussively, but we got much more out of it!

Hybrid Head Crusher explores every facet of the machine including aggressive hits, unique percussive hits, industrial loops, tonal braams and eerie playable atmospheres aimed to deliver post apocalyptic flavors to hybrid and modern scores.
